An HR Assistant is needed for this entirely remote position in Houston on a long-term contract. By handling daily back-end and administrative tasks, gathering data from our employees, and managing the contractor staffing process, the resourcing coordinator plays a crucial role in assisting the talent managers. The Resourcing Coordinator will assist Talent Managers in a variety of locations and programs. Excel proficiency is a requirement. Bachelor’s degree is necessary.

Responsibilities:

  • Take control of a single mailbox for scheduling updates. Ability to manage the inbox and do follow-up on queries or problems.
  • Ability to use People Planner, our resource management system, autonomously and learn new features. accountable for updating the People Planner regularly with scheduling changes.
  • Ad hoc Resource Management reporting should be produced, tested, and distributed. the capacity to comprehend, inquire about, and follow up on important matters.
  • Follow up with people proactively to make sure schedules are accurate and to inform staff members of any changes.
  • Communicate daily with connections at the talent manager.
  • Inform talent managers in advance when an employee is available, and then hunt for possibilities when they do.
  • To arrange Challenge Schools for new hires and/or promotions, coordinate with Talent Managers.
  • Ensure that employee bios and profiles are current by reviewing career profiles and skills in our HRIS and on iShare. As required, generate reports for Talent Management leads.
  • Make contact with people who haven’t turned in their timesheets or are exhibiting schedule inconsistencies, and produce a weekly report to give to talent management leads.
  • Review and take action on numerous duties, such as managing employee maintenance in People Planner, keeping the regional Sold But Not Staffed list, and allowing access to codes in iTrac.

Requirements:

REQUIRED EDUCATION & PROFESSIONAL CREDENTIALS

  • Two years or more of experience providing administrative support
  • A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (such as business administration, communications, or human resources)

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Track record of success working with and learning new technologies and systems
  • Capability to take direction, work independently, and be self-motivated
  • Business savvy and the capacity to comprehend the Talent Management process, spot any problems, and take appropriate action
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; professionalism; teamwork; attention to detail; capacity for problem-solving and the capacity to think creatively about solutions.
