In order to find an Accounting Manager, Robert Half has teamed up with a fantastic real estate company in Denver. A hybrid work schedule is available for the Accounting Manager position, allowing you to work from home 2–3 days a week. The salary range for the Accounting Manager role is $90,000-$95,000!
Responsibilities:
The following will fall under the purview of the accounting manager:
- Ensure that all tax returns, bank reconciliations, and monthly statements are correctly completed and filed by the due dates for accounting.
- To guarantee proper financial reporting, prepare journal entries as necessary. Create and keep accurate records of journal entries and other working documents as supporting evidence.
- Perform analyses on all financial records, including balance sheets, income and expense accounts, to check for accuracy, spot trends, and suggest adjustments that can benefit the property.
- Help properties with their general accounting requirements and inquiries.
- Assist the leadership with any required or desired training on a variety of accounting topics.
Help with annual budgets and predictions. Support external auditors during reviews and audits. Analyze monthly financial records for accuracy, trends, and methods to enhance property performance. - Gather data for a variety of company reports and property reports to give leadership correct information and to follow corporate policies and procedures as well as rules and regulations from the government. + Supervision of staff accountant(s) and hired professional service representatives. Mentoring and developing staff accountants and senior accountants to promote career progression.

Requirements:
- 3+ years of real estate and/or property accounting experience + 1+ years of supervisory experience is preferable but not necessary + Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
