Position Description:

For TNC’s North American Regional Office, the Finance/Accounting Assistant II offers administrative finance/accounting support (NARO). For a department or business unit, they offer a range of ordinary and non-routine financial and accounting-related responsibilities. Paying invoices, preparing and processing accounting forms like journal entries, ensuring the accuracy and coding of journal entry transactions, checking employee timesheets for accuracy, maintaining accounts payable, general ledger and vendor payments, preparing financial reports and budgets, and other similar tasks are examples of duties that may be assigned.

THINGS YOU WILL BRING

• An equivalent combination of an associate’s degree in accounting or a similar subject and two to three years of relevant job experience.
• 2 to 3 years of expertise analyzing financial data and interpreting data using fundamental accounting concepts.
• Expertise using touch-key calculators, managing databases, creating financial reports, or using automated systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Proven ability to work independently and effectively manage time by setting priorities and adhering to deadlines.
• Proficiency in developing and sustaining cooperative bonds with various teams.
