Responsibilities:
The District Sales Manager is the primary point of contact for the Cargo Account Manager, who is in charge of increasing cargo revenues and market share (with a focus on premium revenue). This is accomplished by developing fresh sales strategies and revising current ones with freight forwarders and other kinds of clients in a predetermined geographic sales zone.
Working from a sales office, account managers manage their designated sales territory mostly through in-person sales calls.
- Account Managers must organize their sales efforts in accordance with current sales strategies and logical analyses of account and market data.
- In order to support the overall goals for the position, territory, market, department, and company, the Account Manager must deliver timely sales plans and activity reports to their boss.
- Responsible for surpassing or reaching the targets for measurable key performance indicators. will access account information and find chances for sales generation using sales force automation technology.
- In all operating processes and procedures, adopts safety-conscious behaviors.
