The Enterprise Account Executive at Starburst is a quota-carrying enterprise software sales role in charge of creating and closing new business prospects, raising brand awareness for Starburst in the marketplace, and meeting and surpassing targets. We are searching for driven, laser-focused, and coachable sales professionals with expertise in all aspects of the software sales cycle, including business case building, negotiation, closing, pilot process management, value proposition definition and articulation, and prospecting.
Responsibilities:
At Starburst, an enterprise account executive will:
- Create new business prospects in the designated zone for the sale of Starburst software and services engagements.
- Create and execute a sales strategy for the designated territory and/or the targeted customer list.
- Gain a thorough grasp of the Starburst offering and value proposition in the market and be able to communicate it clearly.
- Maintaining a constant focus on pipeline construction inside the region to guarantee sustained success
- Engage with and make use of the network of Channel and Alliance partners to identify new business prospects and expedite the closing of ongoing agreements.
- Oversee opportunities as they go through the sales cycle, from the first inquiry to the pipeline projection to deal design and closing.
- Reach your territory’s quarterly and annual revenue targets.
- Report on sales, activities, status, and progress on a frequent basis and provide ongoing updates on all active accounts (by CRM, webex, or in-person)
- Sustain a high degree of referenceability and client satisfaction
- Travel for presentations and client visits
Requirements:
Among the items we search for are:
- More than five years of increasing SaaS software sales experience to businesses
- A history of success closing large, complicated corporate accounts
- Outstanding analytical, financial, organizational, and negotiating skills. able to prosper in a dynamic, entrepreneurial setting with excellent written and vocal communication abilities
- Must be able to work both strategically and tactically; have expertise in high-growth, early-stage organizations; and have a can-do, self-starter mentality in a highly collaborative environment.
