Position Description:
The Global Digital Product Enablement team is responsible for directing the go-to-market strategy and operations for a variety of digital initiatives as well as strategically providing product knowledge across the business. The employee will assist with extra process improvement, audit-related, program or executional activities as required and collaborate on the project management of new and ongoing initiatives. Together with cross-functional business partners like Product Development, Business Development, Legal, Compliance, and Operational Excellence, they will collaborate closely with coworkers on the Global Digital Product Enablement team.
An average day’s work (responsibilities):
- Create project overview decks and trackers, hold continuing project update meetings, and communicate often with business partners about product strategy and project changes.
- Help with end-to-end internal management of the introduction or discontinuation of products, features, or capabilities, as well as other membership pilots and experiences
- Develop toolkits and tools throughout Amex Digital Labs to support learning agenda and speed up time to market. Assist efforts to create and implement process improvement.
- Bring up project concerns and put together the necessary preparations to prevent delivery compromises.
- Help with project management of audits as required, recording and submitting the requested deliverables, acting as a working group liaison, and keeping track of any required improvement actions.
- Use consumer, merchant/partner, and internal stakeholder feedback to help with product ideation in order to overcome challenges and come up with solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree holders are not eligible
- either a GED, an associate’s degree, or a high school diploma

- Collaboration, interpersonal, and communication abilities to work with partners across functions and with coworkers at all levels
- Extremely organized with the capacity to lead many priorities simultaneously and exhibit confidence in driving results against deadlines.
- possessing MS Office proficiency and teachable PowerPoint skills to create visual stories
- demonstrated the ability to tackle problems creatively
- Self-starter with a good work ethic who can flourish in a fast-paced setting
- a strong interest for working on initiatives within the changing digital and mobile market, along with a desire to learn about consumer behavior and digital trends across categories.
